Vancouver is gearing up to host the fourth round of HSBC SVNS 2025, an event that not only brings the world’s top 12 rugby sevens teams to BC Place from February 21 to 23 but also celebrates a decade of top-level rugby in the city. The team captains, both men’s and women’s, gathered at Sunset Beach for a traditional welcome from the Squamish Nation, marking the beginning of a weekend that promises to be unforgettable.

After three thrilling rounds, the battle for the top spots is fierce: New Zealand leads the women’s standings, while the men’s competition sees a three-way tie between Fiji, Argentina, and Spain. Matches kicked off on Friday, with the men’s and women’s finals set for Sunday, promising a spectacular conclusion to this anniversary event.

A GRAND CELEBRATION

This year, the Vancouver SVNS festival stands out as the tenth anniversary of the series in Canada. Beyond the intense on-field action, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, from international cuisine and live music to interactive competitions, including an axe-throwing challenge led by the captains.

Outside BC Place, seven rugby-themed light installations will illuminate downtown Vancouver, inspired by previous successful activations. With Saturday tickets nearly sold out, fans are encouraged to secure their spots to avoid missing this rugby sevens celebration.
