In total there are 25 teams from 13 different countries, proving that korfball has a European presence and a strong appeal across Europe. This new season, as an encouraging gesture, the IKF Council has decided to welcome back the teams that last year had to withdraw. These teams will start at the bottom of the list, as they do not have a ranking from the previous year.
The KCL provides a fantastic platform for national clubs to gain invaluable international experience and participate in highly competitive matches. With three different trophies up for grabs (the KCL, the Challenger and the Satellite), each team has a real opportunity to achieve international success and recognition.
The KCL 2025 is more than a competition, it is an engine for improvement at all levels. The effort and dedication shown by the participating teams has been remarkable and the quality of play continues to increase. The matches are becoming increasingly competitive, encompassing a wider spectrum of teams and encouraging a higher standard of korfball across Europe.
