The international calendar of the International Association for the Development of Apnea (AIDA) will have a busy August, with events taking place across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Between the 8th and 31st, athletes from various disciplines will gather at pool and depth competitions, aiming for personal bests, records, and the opportunity to compete against some of the best freedivers in the world.
From local tournaments to national and international championships, the schedule includes both indoor and open-water events. Venues range from the cold waters of the Baltic Sea to warm tropical destinations, passing through Olympic swimming pools and unique natural locations. AIDA sends its best wishes to all athletes preparing to compete in these challenging events.
