The fourth Regional Digital Communication and Social Media Seminar successfully concluded in Baku, Azerbaijan, on Friday, October 4, after three days of intensive sessions and enriching knowledge exchange. The event was organized in collaboration with the European Olympic Committees (EOC), the Azerbaijan National Olympic Committee (NOC), the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), and the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

This seminar, following the success of the third edition held in Lausanne in 2023, highlighted the importance of innovation and collaboration in enhancing digital communication in the sports field. Key sessions addressed the digital outcomes of the Paris 2024 Games and the use of artificial intelligence in talent identification and fan engagement. Additionally, upcoming innovations for future EOC events, such as the 2027 European Games in Istanbul, were discussed.

The seminar, supported by Olympic Solidarity, provided a platform for collaboration and the planning of future digital communication projects, preparing National Olympic Committees and Athletes’ Commissions for upcoming events like the Istanbul 2027 European Games and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.
